WALSH’s Tahoma Vista Village project is an occupied renovation of affordable senior housing built in 1973. Within the community, there is a Cole building and a Commons building as well as a group of ten one-story Cottage buildings. The Cole building contains 37 units within three-stories of wood frame while 63 total units are housed within the ten one-story 6-plex and 8-plex wood framed Cottages. Scope of work includes cabinets/counters, flooring, appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixture, an elevator upgrade, fire sprinklers, an HVAC upgrade (Commons building), a seismic upgrade (Cole building), sitework upgrades and asbestos abatement. Construction on the Cole building and Cottage buildings were sequenced into seven phases.
