The need for affordable housing continues to grow in the Greater Seattle area. In response, Capitol Hill Housing committed to developing the Station House, a mixed use project that is seven stories and 90,489 SF of residential space. There are 110 units available to those making 60 percent or less of the area median income. It also includes over 1,300 sf of community space and 12,925 SF of garage space. Adjacent to Capitol Hill light rail station, it is a prominent example of a transit-oriented sustainable development. Station House targeted LEED for Homes Platinum.
