Linfield Science Building Addition Project is located at 356 W Linfield Ave, McMinnville, Oregon. The project consists of a new (steel structure) 23,000 SF science facility. The project also includes the demolition of an existing building (Mac Hall) and the rehabilitation (and addition) of existing biology, chemistry and physics labs in 2 other existing buildings (Murdock & Graf).



Anticipated construction schedule –  June 2021 start with a 15 to 16 month Construction Schedule.

Budget Request Linfield Science Building Addition – 100% DD

We are pleased to offer you an opportunity to provide a BUDGET COST for Linfield Science Building Addition Project in McMinnville, Oregon. Walsh Construction is the selected General Contractor for the project. Our intention is to go through competitive bidding process later in the winter of 2020 or early 2021 for this project.  There is the possibility of bringing on some trades earlier than that.

100 DD Drawing/Spec NotesThe project required last minute design changes that are only reflected in the architectural and landscape drawings.  This consisted of adding a main grand entry & stair to the East side of the new building and modifying the connection space between Graf and the New Building (eliminating the grand stair and shrinking the space)

For those requiring the architect’s consultant drawings (Steel, MEPS, etc) … For this budget exercise, please price the existing consultant drawings (on earlier design) and provide a thoughtful ROM (rough order of magnitude) cost for what it may cost for your specific scope for this revision.



  • No wage rate requirements.  Prevailing wages DO NOT apply.



Please provide cost breakout in your BUDGET proposals.  More breakout the better but at the very least, please break out your costs between these ‘silos’:

  • Murdock rehab
  • New Building and Graf rehab & addition
  • Sitework



Include Gross Receipts Tax (AKA CAT tax or Student Success Tax) effective 1/1/2020 in your proposal.

Webster Road is a rehabilitation project for the Housing Authority of Clackamas County.  It’s an existing single-story wood-framed building constructed in 1960’s.  The program consists of 48 mix of studios and SRO units for residents age 55 and older, food prep area, laundry facilities, offices and other common areas. The scope of work includes building code and accessibility upgrades; new insulation, weatherproofing, windows, doors, new exterior cladding and roofing; interior remodel includes new flooring, walls and ceiling finishes, plumbing fixtures, lighting and HVAC.

On behalf of BRIDGE Housing Corporation (BRIDGE), the project owner, Walsh Construction Co./Oregon (WCC) is issuing a Request for Bids from qualified subcontractors for a mixed use senior living building in the South Waterfront District of SW Portland, Oregon.



The Riverplace Parcel 3 includes a 5-story wood framed residential structure above a 1-story concrete podium and 1-story partially underground garage, providing 178 ea. affordable housing apartments.  The overall project square footage is approximately 396,000 SF.

The Riverplace Parcel 3 owner is BRIDGE Housing Corp (BRIDGE).  The design team includes:

  • Exterior trade access – assume all-trades mechanical scaffold provided by masonry subcontractor due to limited access around project perimeter.  Alternates to provide trade access will be considered, provided they coordinate with the requirements of the adjacent electrical franchise substation, existing occupied Phase 1 and right-of-way traffic plan.
