Just over a year after groundbreaking, Pacific University’s newest residence hall is home to 200 undergraduate students. Cascade Hall, the 65,000-square-foot building embodies the spirit of living and learning on campus.

Pacific University Washburne Hall Renovations
Pacific University, with the assistance of longtime food service provider Aramark, will refresh the Washburne University Center and expand offerings in time for the 2014 fall semester. Design and construction of the project is a partnership between Portland-based firms Opsis Architecture, inici Group, Inc. and Walsh Construction Co.

Renovation project starts at Pacific University
Construction will begin in May on a new look for the University Center at Pacific University. The renovation is one of several projects under way at the Forest Grove campus.
The two-story University Center building, originally constructed in 1963, is considered outdated for the university’s plans for growth. The building needs cosmetic updating and greater accessibility, said Joe Lang, Pacific University’s media relations director.

The 60,000 SF new residence hall at Pacific University is successfully under construction by WALSH and Mahlum Architects and will be the third new residence hall built on the Forest Grove campus since 2006.
