Our intern cohorts give students the opportunity to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.

Each year we select students to participate in our hands-on approach to learning.  As an intern, you will be located on site with the field team and learning the ins-and-outs of building and construction.  This model affords you the opportunity to work with a dedicated superintendent, project manager, and field craftspeople who will serve as your mentors during your time with us.

As a member of your regional cohort, you will engage with your peers and regional leadership to have a sneak peek into the culture of Walsh.

We offer our interns the full experience. From an active jobsite, you will see what it takes to construct a building firsthand. Our project teams are excellence mentors and our human resources department stays engage to ensure you have the most valuable experience possible.

We will walk you through what it’s like in the industry and working at Walsh. Our established mentorship program and Construction Management Trainee program are additional avenues we nurture for our employees’ success and to encourage long and fulfilling career paths. Not only will you engage with our project teams, but you will learn how to work with our trade partners, interact with project partners, and learn all about the additional departments within the company that are integral to our success.

Happy hours, ball games, and other fun activities are just the icing on the cake!
