O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders

We share a desire to continuously increase diversity within our workforces and our subcontractor pool, and to increase the capacity of diverse businesses. In 2000, we joined forces with O’Neill Electric Group and created O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders (OWCB). OWCB builds on both companies’ strengths, provides opportunities for us to offer expanded services to new and existing clients, and enables O’Neill to learn about processes and programs necessary to succeed on larger scale projects. Co-existing with their parent companies, OWCB has successfully completed many projects with more in the pipeline. This joint-venture operates with the goal to win and execute work on mutually beneficial projects for years to come.

Projects we have successfully completed include:

  • Butte Hotel
  • REACH Community Development Headquarters
  • Portland Community College Southeast Center
  • Beech Street Apartments
  • Asian Health & Services Center
  • The Louisa Flowers
  • Orchards of 82nd + APANO
  • Meyer Memorial Trust
  • St. Francis Park Apartments
  • The Jade
  • Northwest Housing Alternatives (NHA) Campus Redevelopment
The OWCB team tours the home of the since completed Louisa Flowers in Portland, Oregon.

“How we build a project is as important to us as what we build. Involving minority and women owned business, and employing low income people during construction are at the core of our basic development program. O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders is a leader among general contractors in creating opportunities for business and people.”
