Copper Leaf Apartments is a seven-story, 235-unit affordable housing development in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, located one block from the Northgate Link Light Rail Station and adjacent to the Park & Ride lot. The transit-oriented development includes a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments, providing affordable housing options for a range of household sizes.
The building features an entry lobby, bike storage, community room, maker space, childcare, and retail spaces, along with a large Level 1 courtyard. Designed to support walkability, transit access, and long-term neighborhood growth, Copper Leaf contributes to the continued transformation of Northgate into a more connected, transit-accessible community.
Constructed on a complex urban infill site, the project required careful coordination of site logistics, utilities, stormwater infrastructure, pedestrian circulation, and work within a high-activity transit environment.
