Fourth Plain Commons

Fourth Place Community Commons is an innovative community hub that combines affordable housing, event space, community kitchen, and social services in one building. This major development, supported by the Vancouver Housing Authority, City of Vancouver, and the Fourth Plain Forward coalition, includes 106 units of affordable housing on the upper floors and flexible community-serving space on the ground floor. The new development promotes safe streets, economic opportunities, and affordable housing in Vancouver’s diverse, multi-cultural International District. The mixed-use building dynamically anchors the street corner and is designed to allow murals to cover much of the façade. The 10,000 SF ground floor incubator space features a commissary kitchen, event hall, and flexible offices for neighborhood organizations and businesses.
