Kalapuya Ilihi Hall at University of Oregon houses 531 students and features large open spaces that allow students and faculty to come together for learning and collaboration. The Residence Hall also features Academic Program Space, Resident Assistant rooms, two professional staff apartments, and a Resident Faculty apartment. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification and construction design accommodations for the ceremonial needs of the Many Nations Longhouse directly to the north. The 145,000-square-foot project developed flexible learning commons that makes Kalapuya Ilihi Hall a malleable and functional space.
