Hobson Place

The new six-story building offers 177 apartments and achieved Passive House certification

The Hobson Place project was constructed in two phases with the North phase completed first, followed a little over a year later with the South phase. In total, the new six-story building offers 177 apartments and honors the legacy of late former director Bill Hobson, whose 31-year tenure with the organization included serving as executive director from 1988 until his retirement in 2015. The project achieved Passive House certification and features a 5,000 SF healthcare clinic with capacity to serve 10,000 clients per year. In partnership with Harbor View Medical Center, the clinic was designed to meet the needs of people living with disabilities and experiencing long periods of homelessness.
